05/1992 Lottonen begins as a professional luthier in Kumpula, Helsinki sharing workspace together with Liikanen Musical Intruments -makers of classical guitars. Business concept - create acoustic steel-stringed guitars.
1993 A move to Arabia, Helsinki, same premises with the Helsinki Pop & Jazz Conservatory. Instrument repairs also a large part of the business.
1994 A move to Vallila, Helsinki. Instrument repairs the main source of income. Orders of electric guitars on the rise.
1995 First experiments with making laminated guitars.
1997 The first Selmer Maccaferri - type guitar is made
1998 The first jazz-guitar, the Ultra -18, made from tempered wood
2000 Own laminated guitar model, the Centurion, is made.
2001 A move to Herttoniemi, Helsinki. The manufacture of laminated and full-wood guitars is on the rise.
2003 Lottonen Guitars Oy (incorporated) is formed. A move to the first fully owned workspace ends the wonderful partnership as tenants of Liikanen Musical Instruments. Lauri Tanner begins working with the company.
2004 100th guitar is made, a Centurion-dlx. The first Modesto -model is made.
2005 Lauri becomes a full-time employee.
2006 A move inside the Herttoniemi, Helsinki premises to the current location of the company.
2007 Lauri becomes a partner and the business is enjoying strong growth.
